All our jewels are handmade with love and are fine and delicate in nature that require to be handled and enjoyed with love. Take care in removing your jewels before participating in activities that may cause physical damage to your jewels and avoid contact with harsh chemicals contained in lotions, perfumes and hairspray to avoid tarnishing.
How to keep the shine?
14kt Gold Fill: Light cleaning from a soft non-abrasive polishing cloth or with mild soapy water.
Freshwater Pearls: Delicate porous gemstones such as freshwater pearls require careful cleaning. Gently wipe with a damp or dry soft untreated cotton cloth to maintain lustre.
Store your jewels away from natural sunlight, heat and humidity in non-abrasive storage solutions. For pearl items, store individually in a soft cloth or pouch to avoid scratching from jewellery items. We recommend enclosed storage solutions that accommodate for a variety of jewellery styles, including necklace hooks to avoid tangling and trays for bracelet storage.
What is 14kt Gold Fill?
A quality fine metal that wears the same as solid gold and with proper care, will last a lifetime. Gold Fill is 100% more valuable than gold plating, with a solid layer of gold mechanically bonded onto base metal. Plating is a thin ‘painted’ layer prone to wear, chipping and tarnishing. Gold Fill is hypoallergenic and will not tarnish, flake, or rub off.
